　　Dr. Chyuan-Sheng Lin received his PhD degree from Department of Genetics and Development of Columbia University in 1996. He was a postdoctoral fellow of Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) at University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) from 1996 to 1999 working on gene therapy. In 1999, he joined Columbia University Cancer Center to run HICCC Transgenic Mouse Facility and Department of Ophthalmology to head for a glaucoma research program. Dr. Lin’s expertise is in transgenic and gene targeting technologies. He currently runs another research program in Department of Pathology and Cell Biology using mouse models carrying mutations found in patients to study macular degeneration.
