Yanbin Zhang Ph.D. is a tenure-track Assistant Professor at Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, University of Miami School of Medicine. He got his PhD degree in Peking University in 1998, later he completed his postdoctoral training in the University of Kentucky. His research mainly focuses on two DNA repair mechanisms: interstrand cross-link (ICL) repair and mismatch repair (MMR), both of them safeguard genome from almost all unfavorable DNA modifications that initiate cancers.
