主讲人:Yingjie Chen, Ph.D., MD         Assistant Professor of Medicine         Vascular Biology Center and Cardiovascular Division         University of Minnesota   时  间:06年9月22日(星期五)上午11:30 地  点:生理楼三层会议室 主  办:生理与病理生理学系                欢迎参加。     YingJie Chen, M.D.,  Ph.D. Assistant Professor of Medicine   His general research interest is myocardial hypertrophy, congestive heart failure and exercise-induced muscle fatigue. The major research activities of his laboratory are focusing on the effect of adenosine A1 receptor, ATP sensitive Potassium channels, and dimethylarginine dimethylaminohydrolase (an enzyme regulates endogenous nitric oxide synthase inhibitors) on pressure overload-induced ventricular hypertrophy and heart failure. He received an Honorary Mention of Sports Science Award of the International Olympic Committee in 1991 for his research in exercise-induced muscle pain. He received the National Scientist Development Award from American Heart Association in 2001. He is currently the principal investigator of one active RO1 award of NIH, and the Co-PI of one active RO1 award of NIH.
